COVID 19. Think!
1:04 AM, Gary Lim London:
I read this article and interview with Ken Frazier CEO of Merck 1 out of 4 Black CEOs of a Fortune 500 company and don’t agree with his view that ” unless all of us are safe, none of us is safe”. There are 7.5 billion people in the world and you cannot and do not need to vaccinate everyone. There are people in remote parts of the world such as the small island countries in the Pacific which don’t have a single case and also many young people like my friend’s son who gets it and just get over it in no time. You only need to mass vaccinate most of the world’s countries and like SARS in 2003 it would just peter out as the Covid 19 virus will mutate as the experts say and over time will become less lethal 👇
It is true that no vaccine in the past has been developed in such record time and to date, there is still no vaccine for HIV but the world cannot afford to wait even another year for a vaccine. At this rate there won’t be any economy or business left standing to speak of…no one then has money to spend and if so, on what?
