Why do we have so many Malaysians hostile to the idea of an urban air taxi/drone? Ok so maybe the government bought a prototype from whoever, but at least the government is making an attempt. Adopting technology from industry pioneers is nothing new, China copies from the States and even if we are copying from China, so what?
Guys, seriously, let’s gets a grip! Malaysia is our country and the government of the day happens to be our government! Let’s not denigrate our own government or our country at every possible juncture!

HH comment: James you are entitled to have your say about Malaysians denigrating their own government at every possible juncture. Now you listen to what I have to say on what you have just said.
1.Urban Air Taxi/drone in Malaysia? Huh…they cannot manage a decent taxi service on the ground, you think they will do better in the air?
2. They want to fly today…and they do not even have the sense to get the Department of Covil Aviation to clear their flight plan. These are fundamentals to be attended to even before they take to the air – and they did not have the good sense to get this done! What happens when they are in the air?
3. Malaysians are not hostile to their government. We put them into office. We are hostile to idiots and morons who have been given ministerial posts and then proceed to make dumb fools of themselves by allowing projects such as this urban air taxi to be even be considered as viable or credible given that there are more pressing wants that are needed to be addressed first : like a decent taxi service on the ground.
