Selamat Pagi Malaysa…another day in paradise? Huh! Go tell that to the Marines! I have lived in Melbourne for the past six years. In Australia for over three decades. With very few exceptions, none of which I can, or am bothered to remember…with very few exceptions…. politics in Australia is something I leave to politicians to do.
Politicians police themselves well and effectively. When Ministers, Chief Ministers, DPM or PM err, they are invariably shown the door by their own party or the public. In recent memory, I have seen Ministers, Chief Ministers, DPM, and even PMs removed from office for various “mistakes” …..from receiving an expensive bottle of wine to the error of thinking themselves God’s gift to Australians. Suffice for me to say that politicians here are being held accountable for what they do in the name of government.
Ninety-nine percent of Australians go about living their life knowing that if those bastards in parliament are not doing their jobs as the people’s representatives, they will lose their seats at the next election. No if’s no but’s…they will lose their electoral seats.
Think about that Malaysians. Think how sweet it would be to have politicians do their work knowing that the rakyat will have the final say in their future as OUR representatives in parliament.
When that happens then guys like this piece of garbage would be a thing of the past and will no longer be able to pollute the air that we breathe with their presence. Ptui!
