FEATURED POLITICS

Act now before the lunatic fringe takes democracy from us!

Selamat Pagi Malaysia.

The democratic process is wondrous.

In 2018 the democratic process gave back to the people a country they have lost to corrupt politicians. Two years later in 2020, that same democratic process made possible Langkah Sheraton. And the rest is history.

It is now January 2021. Already the democratic process has silenced the voices of our elected representatives by the declaration of an EMERGENCY that we do not need. The democratic process has installed a cabal of rogue, political pariahs in a back door government that was not elected to govern. And today, this back door government is tellingly lacking a majority in parliament to govern, and yet it governs.

Has the democratic process failed us?

The democratic process is alive and well. It is we that have failed ourselves. It is the people whom we have elected to represent us, that has failed us. And because, for whatever reason, we were the ones that choose them, we need to take responsibility for that wrong. Once we do that, we can then begin, to once again use, the democratic process to rid ourselves of the rogue political pariahs that now rule our nation, rid ourselves of this obnoxious back door government that has declared the EMERGENCY that we do not need, rid ourselves of an unelected prime minister and most critical of all, elect a government for the people, by the people and of the people.

Through all this democracy lives. Its use or abuse is what makes or breaks a nation and its people. Democracy in Malaysia has certainly been abused. What we now do will determine what future there will be for those that will come after us. The future of Malaysia and Malaysians is in our hands. Ponder this responsibility and think what we must all now do to save democracy from the lunatic fringe that now threatens our nation, our people and our future.
