DEWAN DI PAGOH : PORK BARREL POLITICS AT IT’S WORST!
Why build an RM35 mil Dewan Sebaguna in Pagoh? Let me tell you why.
- Employment. The construction of the Dewan will bring employment to the locals.
- Business. The contractor, most probably from Pagoh or Johor, will have work and remember the multiplier effect? Suppliers of building materials, locals providing meals and accommodation for the workers, many people and businesses in Pagoh will benefit from the Dewan project.
- Din, as their MP, will be seen as doing “something” for the people of Pagoh. He will expect to get their vote at the next GE.
- The “multiplier effect” will spread its kleptocratic tentacles into Umno Pagoh, into JKR, into PMO’s office, and into the pockets of sahabat sahabat TSMY. If I have to explain to you how this is done…then you must be living in cuckoo land, not in Bolehland.
Why Din should not build that Dewan in Pagoh?
This will be the nail in Din’s coffin to be exploited by Umno and all the powers that be that are now marshalling their forces and their strengths to defeat Din at the next general election. What a stupid idiot this Din is!
When people are suffering from the implementation of the MCO, when the country’s economy has been devastated by the effects of the pandemic and when common sense tells all of us that you should watch every penny being spent for the future is full of doom and gloom, TSMY goes and spent RM$35 million on a Dewan that Pagoh does not need, for votes that will never come, in a general election that he will certainly lose. Enough said!
