First Anwar, go cap in hand to see Tun Mahathir, and ask the old man to please, once more time, together with you riding beside him with a shotgun ready to defend his back, and together with the others, get Pakatan Harapan ready for what is to come in these coming months: A GENERAL ELECTION.
The Old Man might tell you to go to hell. He might tell you to go jump into the river or he might just keep you waiting at the gate until he is ready to see you… but I tell you brother Anwar, Tun will eventually see you.
Sit down and listen to what he has to say. Bite your tongue and give respect to the old man. When he has had enough with berating you and putting you in your place as (at best) his number two, or at worse as one of his “budak suruhan”… just say “Yes Sir, Yes Sir, three bags full Sir” to Tun and get down to work with Tun and the others to get Pakatan Harapan ready for electoral battle dalam masa terdekat.
Surely brother Anwar all this humiliation at the hands of Tun is deserved by you? Surely you can swallow your pride once again on the understanding that the time will soon come when Tun will willingly pass the mantle to you simply because there is no one better than you to be PM after Tun kan?
Perish whatever pride you or Tun still have. Dismiss any thought of revenge or putting the other in their place for what has happened in the past. What you or Tun want to do to each other is of no concern to us. You are both needed to take back our nation from those political pariahs. And the others in Pakatan Harapan will only be too willing and eager to see the two of you together with them once again to take Putrajaya again for our common good.
And we will win the next general election with the same ease as we did in 2018 if we are all together. And the least that you and Tun should do is to stop behaving like spoilt brats. Stop behaving like entitled brats who deserve to be given stuff on a golden platter. And stop hoping that we the rakyat will go on our knees to the two of you to ask you to lead us once again against those political pariahs. We need each other. Remember that…we all need each other.
So how about it brother Anwar? The Old Man is waiting. He will not come to you. You will have to go to him. Once done, we then go on to win the next general election…and then your time to shine in the sun will come. Until then…be patient and do what you must to make things right again.
