Selamat Pagi Malaysia.
This last Selamat Pagi of 2020 is about traitors.
Even as he continues to scheme, plot, and grasp at straws to keep his head above the choppy political waters that will soon drown him, this man knows that his relevance to those political pariahs that he has irresponsibly brought back into government rapidly diminishes. The fate that awaits this traitor is similar to the fate of an ice block that has been left in the hot sun. In time, he will be no more.
Azmin Ali is now dead meat left hanging on a hook waiting to be fried, grilled, or roasted before being used to fill up the belly of those who have been responsible for duping him to think that Langkah Sheraton was his way to political greatness. In truth, like the other political traitors and treasonous frogs before him, his usefulness to the very people he facilitated back into government, is over. No one, no political entity, no political faction, no politician of any worth, wants Azmin Ali in their corner. Not even the good people of Gombak.
Azmin Ali is indeed in 2020, the most despised, loathed, and hated person in our midst today. Nothing will save him. Not PKR, not Umno not PN and not even Din, for to be with Azmin Ali is to be with Satan, the devil, Brutus, a Judas, and a Benedict Arnold all at once. He has betrayed every political cause that he has been part of. Now his betrayal of Bersatu is expected dalam masa terdekat.
The only safe refuge that many of us can depend upon, family, had been denied to Azmin many years back. So where else can Azmin Ali go when those whom he had betrayed catches up with him to ask him for their pound of flesh from him? And even if they let him go, they will not be denied their pound of flesh.
So for me, as this last day of 2020 draws to a close, the only comfort I can draw from the year that I have just lived through is this: Political frogs like Azmin Ali are universally despised by all. By friends and by enemies. All recognise Azmin Ali for what he is…a traitor.
Let all Malaysians remember this traitor and let us remember to never allow the likes of him to darken our lives ever again. Talk of his treachery to everyone we know and remind them to remember his treacherous deeds. Talk to our children about him and remind them that when the time comes for history to remember Azmin, he must be placed among those who have committed treason to everything we Malaysians all hold dear. And in the closing hours of 2020, I hope we can all agree on what Jesus Apollinaris: “There is no loyalty in the heart of a traitor, only the false act of appearing trustworthy.”
Happy New Year guys. I am done with 2020. Roll on 2021 and May The Force Be With You.
