Fear and loathing.

The never-ending soap opera and drama of politicians so enamored and in incestuous love with themselves to the exclusion of everything and everybody else, is beginning to bore me. They are the same characters, the same idiots, the same geriatric politicians, with the same Umno DNA who really think that the world revolves around them. Imagine…all these Malay politicians are from the same achuan : UMNO. Do you know why inbreeding is a problem?

Inbreeding results in homozygosity, which can increase the chances of offspring being affected by deleterious or recessive traits. This usually leads to at least temporarily decreased biological fitness of a population (called inbreeding **depression**), which is its ability to survive and reproduce.

Long story short, the rambutans do not all far from the rambutan trees. Those from Umno, arguably share the same DNA. They are corrupt, arrogant, low life and really believe that the world revolves around them. They are stuck in that filth, and, for safe measure, hubris is shoveled into that pit in bucketloads. And in that toxic pit the creme de la creme of Malaysian politicians (NOT!) resides under a chendawan under a tempurung!

How else do you explain UMNO’s by-product like Mahathir, Najib, Anwar, Zahid, Muhyiddin and Ku Li. In our eyes these are all losers. Recycled in an endless loop. And certainly all past their “use by date”. All insanely wealthy with OPM (other people’s money. The Rakyat’s money! All of them without enough self-respect and decency to go away and live what is left of their useless lives without that foot in the door syndrome, just in case, so they say, the nations need their services again, and again and again! Huh!

Like the leech that desperately clings to you and suck your blood to survive, these Umno politicians have blighted our already wretched lives with their presence and nothing we do seems to make them understand the loathing we have for them. Loathing, disgust, and contempt all competing to smack them in their face, but, unfortunately, there is also fear.

We fear if we have been lied to about COVID 19. We fear, if there is to be a surge in the numbers of new COVID 19 cases and death, how are we going to be able to go out and buy our food. And more critical, we fear about how are we are going to earn the money to buy that food when there is no work to do, no business to run, and no prospect of an end to the CMO ever! We fear what Umno and Pas will do to rid themselves of Muhyiddin’s back door government. The same back door government that PAS and UMNO have, together with Muhyiddin’s Bersatu, burdened us with. We fear how much more the fabric of Malaysian multi-racial society will be pulled asunder as race and religion are again and again used as the weapon of choice by these politicians to serve their own political agendas. We fear if they will ever be an end to corruption and money politics. We fear if elections will ever again be needed to decide who will govern over us? So many fears in our everyday lives.

This fear and loathing are ever-present in our lives on a daily basis, to the exclusion of everything else. And, add to that, disgusts at how all roads in Malaysia today leads to politics. This is a day to day nightmare that Malaysians have been living through for many years, are still living in today and for certain, tomorrow too, with no end in sight. We have yet to reach the hopelessness of the people in Lebanon or of some countries of the Middle East and Africa, but the rakyat of Malaysia is suffering physically and financially with no end in sight. Damm, damm damm those politicians is what we all say at every opportunity we get. Soon when push comes to shove, any government in Putrajaya will be the target of the people’s ire and anger. A people’s anger that will transcend race and religion will be dangerous and harmful for any government. You need to look no further than the Arab Spring that spread like wildfire in the Arab World and brought to fruition the changes whose time has come. That time has already come and passed in Malaysia. When will our people realize this? Enough said.
